Dolores Pontone Of Leonia
LEONIA, N.J. -- Dolores Pontone (Topoleski), of Leonia, died Tuesday, Nov. 15.
Pontone grew up in Bayonne,the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Topoleski. She graduated from Chestnut Hill College in 1949.
Pontone was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Robert E. Pontone; and sister, Estelle Loftus (William).
Pontone is survived by her children, Robert Jr., Mary Elizabeth Bertschy, James (Elaine) and Suzanne Schaaff (Harold); and eight grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist, 470 Broad Ave., Leonia.

Donald Vincent Pavelock Sr., 79, Beacon Native
BEACON, N.Y. -- Donald Vincent Pavelock Sr., a lifelong Beacon resident, died Sunday Nov. 13. He was 79.
Pavelock was born April 8, 1937, in Beacon, to the late Andrew and Mary (Burke) Pavelock.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-56, and later owned and operated Pappy’s Luncheonette with his late wife in Beacon. He was a former fire commissioner of the Glenham Fire District, and former director of the Beacon Junior. Baseball league. HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Dolores Allegretta, of Hasbrouck Heights, died Monday, Nov. 14. She was 82.

Anna Knoblauch, 94, Of Pleasant Valley
PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. -- Anna Knoblauch, of Pleasant Valley, died Sunday, Nov. 13. She was 94.
Knoblauch was born Jan. 19, 1922, in Millbrook, to the late Joseph and Anna (Rassman) Volk.
She was predeceased by her husband, the late Paul Knoblauch; and two brothers, Joseph and John.
She is survived by many dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Stanislaus Church, 1590 Main St., Pleasant Valley. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Millbrook.
James Ruddy, 71, of Pearl River
PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- James Ruddy of Pearl River died Tuesday, Nov. 8, at St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla. He was 71.
Ruddy was born Oct. 9, 1945, in Shranakilla, Bellacorick, Balina, County Mayo, Ireland, to John and Rose Ruddy.
Ruddy is survived by his children, Laura Dowd, Catherine Ruddy, Rose A. Ruddy, and Sean P. Ruddy; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Incle and Olivia, Ciaron, Aidon and Luke Dowd; a brother, John Ruddy; and a sister, Mary Ruddy.
Alexander String Quartet Performing In Carmel For 35th Anniversary Tour
CARMEL, N.Y. -- Gilead Presbyterian Church will host a performance by the Alexander String Quartet on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m.
The Quartet has performed in music in 13 countries across the globe, and has been recognized for its interpretations of Beethoven, Mozart, Shostakovich, and Brahms.
