Woman Raped With Child Present In Fairview, Guatemalan National Jailed, Held For ICE
Federal authorities have moved to take custody of a 25-year-old Guatemalan immigrant who was charged with raping a woman in Fairview with a child present.
Bylly Xilox Aquino, 25, remained held in the Bergen County Jail on Wednesday, May 1, on a detainer filed by ICE.
Aquino, who's married, has been on Anderson Avenue just off Kamena Street, records show.
Fairview police seized him after a woman said he held her down on a bed, then raped and sodomized her in the presence of a child, according to a complaint on file in Superior Court in Hackensack.

A Morris County man who served as a longtime general counsel to Moody's has pleaded guilty to willfully failing to file federal income tax returns for four years, federal authorities said.
John Goggins, 63, of Chatham, grossed $54 million "from wages, restricted stock awards, the exercise of annual nonqualified stock options, interest, dividends, and gains from stock sales" from 2018 through 2021, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.

A Jersey City woman was nabbed in a stolen car in Lodi after abducting her child a day earlier from a home in nearby Bogota, authorities said.
Jahlea Jones, 28, was charged with child endangerment, interfering with custody, contempt of court and receiving stolen property, among other offenses, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

A Passaic County man died in a fiery crash in Atlantic County, authorities said.
An Absecon officer saw the vehicle on fire off Route 30 near Delilah Road just before 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Apr. 28, the police department said in a news release. The vehicle was spotted near the former site of Bayview Motel.
