Ashby Bus Driver Pushed Student To Floor, Charged With Assault: Police A 64-year-old bus driver in Ashby has been charged with assault after an altercation with a middle school student.  The driver, whose name is being withheld until they are arraigned, is charged with assault and battery following the incident on Tuesday, April 2.  Security camera footage shows the Dee Bus Company driver shoving an eighth-grade student to the floor of the bus during the drive home from Hawthorne Brook Middle School, authorities said.  No one was injured.
