Pipe Bomb Located On Meriden Riverbed A pipe bomb was discovered in a Connecticut riverbed by a person using a metal detector along the shoreline.  The incident took place in New Haven County around 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 2 in the area of Red Bridge at the intersection of Oregon Road and River Road in Meriden. Woman ID'd Who Died After Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge Jump A woman who jumped to her death from a Hudson Valley bridge has been identified by police. Dutchess County resident Dawn Stackhouse, age 52, of Beekman, jumped from the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge in Rhinebeck, on Monday, April 1. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, an investigation determined Stackhouse jumped from the bridge around 9:50 a.m. Good Samaritans fishing near the bridge removed her from the water and attempted life-saving measures, Hicks said. CT Man Found Dead In Car In Walmart Parking Lot A 30-year-old man was found dead in a vehicle in the parking lot of a Connecticut Walmart. Man Struck, Killed Walking In Travel Lanes On CT Roadway Connecticut State Police are asking for witnesses after a 53-year-old man was struck and killed while walking in the travel lanes of I-91. The crash occurred in North Haven around 9:15 p.m., Monday, April 1 on I-91 northbound adjacent to Exit 9. Connecticut State Police reported that Arthur Taylor, of New Haven, was walking in the travel lanes when a 2020 Ford Explorer struck him.
