White Plains High School Students Take Top Honors At Science Competition

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains High School is celebrating this weekend, honoring four students from the Science Research Program who were winners at the Westchester-Rockland Junior Science & Humanities Symposium.

In a Facebook post on the district's page, officials congratulated the students and their teacher, Kimberly Fleming, on their accomplishments last week.

The winners include:

  • Nicholas Crino, a junior who took third place overall in Display Poster Board Level (Behavior)
  • Bridgit O’Donnell, a senior who took second place in Earth & Environmental Science II Competitive Poster Board Level
  • Elana Hausknecht, a junior who won first place in Biology III Competitive Poster Board Level
  • Sarah Samaranayake, a senior who won first place in Medicine & Health IV Competitive Poster Board.
