Hendrick Hudson Graduate Maia Silber Named Rhodes Scholar

MONTROSE, N.Y. -- A 2013 graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School has been named a 2017 Rhodes Scholar.

Maia Silber, a senior at Harvard University, is one of only 32 Americans chosen of nearly 2,500 applicants from around the world, according to the announcement.

Silber will have the opportunity to study at Oxford University in England for two or three years of postgraduate study.
