Hillary Clinton Clashes With Sanders Supporter In Westchester

HARRISON, N.Y. -- Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton clashed with a supporter of Democratic primary opponent Bernie Sanders on Thursday as she arrived for a campaign speech at Purchase College.

At a Hillary Clinton rally at Purchase College Thursday, the presidential candidate clashed with a Greenpeace activist who thanked her for her commitment to climate change then asked her whether she'll accept fossil fuel campaign money in the future.

"I am so sick. I am so sick of the Sanders campaign lying about that. I'm sick of it,'' Clinton responds while pointing her finger at a Greenpeace activist who began by thanking the Democrat for supporting action protecting the environment from climate change.

Clinton, who has lived in Chappaqua since 1999, denied her campaign would accept money from fossil fuel proponents.

A couple dozen supporters of Sanders, a U.S. senator from Vermont, walked out of Clinton's speech shortly after it began.

Clinton and Sanders face each other in New York's Tuesday, April 19 primary election.
