White Plains Man Faces Robbery, Assault Charges In Greenwich

GREENWICH, CONN. -- A 22-year-old White Plains man is facing robbery and assault charges after a police investigation into an April incident involving three men attacking and robbing a 38-year-old Greenwich man, the Greenwich Times reports.

Greenwich police picked up Lukeen Thompson at the Westchester County Jail where he was being held in an unrelated case. In Greenwich, he's charged with second-degree assault, second-degree robbery, larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny, the Greenwich Times reports.

Greenwich police are still working on the case, which includes surveillance video, and more arrests may be forthcoming. The victim was attacked walking home on Railroad Avenue on April 2, beaten and robbed, the Greenwich Times says.
