MIssing 16-Year-Old Greenburgh Girl Found Safe

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The 16-year-old girl missing since Friday night was found on Thursday, according to Greenburgh police.

Treia Boozier, 16, was found safe on Thursday afternoon, according to Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney. She had been missing since Friday night, but was located close to her home, McNerney said.

Police said Treia Boozier was last known to be in the Greenburgh/White Plains area about 8 p.m. on April 1 and had not been seen or heard from since.

Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney said at approximately 3:15 p.m. Thursday Treia was located safely in the Town of Greenburgh in close proximity to her residence.

A family member told Daily Voice earlier Thursday that Treia had been at an Oak Street address last Friday evening and was last seen walking along Manhattan Avenue in Greenburgh.

Treia also went missing last fall, but was found in the Bronx, according to multiple reports.
