WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Robert J. Serro, of White Plains, died Saturday, May 21. He was 77.
He was born Jan. 24, 1939, in Brooklyn, to Andrew and Anna (O'Leary) Serro. He graduated from White Plains High School and resided in White Plains. He worked for the city of White Plains Highway Department for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary; his children, Jeff Serro and Dionne Murphy; his eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nephews and one niece who reside in California.
He was predeceased by his sister, Carol Russel.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 85 Harrison St., West Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care of White Plains Hospital are appreciated.
