James Rackover, who lives in the apartment where Joseph Comunale of Stamford, Conn., 26, was killed, is in police custody, but has not been charged, reported the New York Post.

The apartment, on East 59th Street near First Avenue, was paid for by jeweler Jeffrey Rackover, who is known for providing jewelry to the wealthy, including president-elect Donald Trump, the Post said.

It is unclear how Jeffrey Rackover, who lives in another apartment in the building, is related to James Rackover, added the New York Post.

Officials found Comunale's body buried in Oceanport on the Jersey Shore in Monmouth County on Wednesday morning in a shallow grave.

Comunale, known as "Joey," worked as a sales associate at Tri-Ed Security Products and Solutions on Executive Boulevard in Elmsford. He graduated from Hofstra University in 2012.

Police said he had been stabbed numerous times, had a broken pelvis and had been set on fire, the New York Post said.

Police found blood on Rackover's clothes, as well as on one of his friends, and inside the apartment, reported the Post.

Police found Comunale’s body after the friend turned himself in, the Post said.
