WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Residents on Ferris Avenue in White Plains are frustrated as an ongoing water and gas main project has upended their lives, according to lohud.com.

The Con Edison project began in the winter, and locals have been trying to live around the construction ever since, lohud.com said.

Some residents say the city hasn't done enough to alleviate concerns, reported lohud.com.

Problems residents say that they've dealt with included using a co-op apartment's parking lot as a detour, and building material and portable toilets on the street's sidewalk, lohud.com noted.
