Inmate Hangs Herself In Westchester Prison

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- A female prisoner at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility hanged herself on Friday, according to reports.

Evonne Williams, 49, was serving a sentence for possession of stolen property from a conviction in Onondaga County and was due to be released in December, lohud.com reported.

A medical examiner has ruled her death a suicide, according to lohud.
