WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The unofficial close of summer may come this weekend, but thermometers in Westchester County will suggest that summer is alive and well through Labor Day, according to the National Weather Service.
Expect temperatures to increase slightly and even flirt with the 90-degree mark on Wednesday and Thursday.
Scattered showers on Thursday night will cool things a bit heading into Friday with highs around 80 degrees.
Temperatures will spike once again over the holiday weekend with highs in the mid-to-high 80s through Labor Day.
