Ceremony Dedicates New North White Plains Train Station Parking Garage

NORTH WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Local, state and federal officials, including Metro-North Railroad President Joseph Giulietti, helped dedicate a new parking garage at the North White Plains train station on Friday, according to a report in lohud.com.

The 500-space facility, which has been in use since Oct. 5, includes permit parking on three floors and metered parking on two floors, lohud reported.

The garage also has spaces for drivers with disabilities on the first two levels, along with charging stations for electric vehicles, parking for scooters and bike racks, according to lohud.com.
