Abnormally Dry Conditions Cited For Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The National Weather Service in New York has said Westchester County is suffering from drought conditions.

There are abnormally dry and moderate dry conditions throughout the state, and conditions are being monitored on a daily basis, the service said.

During the last seven days, warmer and drier weather has prevailed in the region.

Area officials have issued a drought watch and are asking residents to conserve water as much as possible.
