In response to the effort, city law firm,  DelBello Donnellan Weingarten Wise & Wiederkehr LLP made a donation of more than $27,000 to the nonprofit organization.

Legal Services provides legal counsel in civil cases for individuals and families that are poor, of low-income, and have disabilities and/or are vulnerable.

“DelBello Donnellan Weingarten Wise & Wiederkehr LLP continues to play a leadership role in support of Legal Services of the Hudson Valley’s efforts to help our neighbors in need access justice when their basic human needs like housing are at stake," said Tom Gabriel, Chief Development Officer.

The campaign will promote household and community stability, by providing legal advice and counsel to homeowners in foreclosure and tax proceedings. In addition, it will assist tenants in unwarranted eviction cases to help families stay in their homes and remain productive members of society.
