A strawberry moon is the phenomenon when a full moon takes place on the summer solstice.
According to EarthSky, the last time a full moon fell on a summer solstice was the "Summer of Love" back in 1967.
Daily Voice reader Mary Oliansky Zaccagnino captured this photo of the once in a generation strawberry moon shining over Mamaroneck's Harbor Island.
