America's Got Talent' Tween Sets Sights On Westchester

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- After competing in "America's Got Talent" -- and Simon Cowell calling her "the coolest 11-year-old in the world" -- rapper Sky Katz will be performing at "Light Up Larchmont" on Saturday, Dec. 3.

A Long Island native, Sky discovering her talent and passion for rapping when she was 5. She's currently recording her debut album, which is slated for a 2017 release.

The tween is driven by an "insatiable thirst to bring back old-school hip-hop and make a mark in the industry, with influences from hip-hop greats like Nicki Minaj, Drake, Nas, Rakim, and many more," her publicist notes.

Besides balancing the recording studio, interviews and performances, Sky is also a star basketball player in Long Island and is currently on three different traveling teams.

Following her "America's Got Talent" performances, she's gained nearly 20,000 followers from across the globe on her Instagram and YouTube pages.

Sky has performed in a variety of regional venues this year, including Brooklyn's Five Spot, and she's also appeared in Newsday and Lucid Magazine.

The performance, at Larchmont's Constitution Park, will begin at 3 p.m.
