North Salem Boy Scouts Troop 1 Seeks Members At Open House

NORTH SALEM -- An Open House Boy Scout Fair for North Salem Boy Scout Troop 1 is planned 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., Oct.15, in the North Salem Middle School cafeteria for boys 11 to 18 and their parents.

Participants will learn about the wide array of high adventure activities and life skills that are part of scouting. Those activities include camping, mountain hiking, outdoor cooking, first aid, wilderness survival, orienteering, canoe treks, lashing, ice climbing, cycling trips, and much more.
