Balducci’s is slated to take over space at the Rye Ridge Shopping Center that previously housed a D’Agostino’s market, according to lohud.com.

The store at 142 S. Ridge St. is to be a full-service grocery complete with a butcher, fishmonger, cheese counter and produce department, according to lohud.com, which reported that Balducci's also will carry a number of “specialty items” like coffees, desserts and sauces.

Balducci’s was founded in 1916 in Brooklyn and developed a reputation for carrying "high-quality specialty items," according to lohud.com.

In addition to the store the grocery chain intends to open in Rye Brook, Balducci's has six additional locations in the tristate area, Maryland and Virginia, according to lohud.com.
