Shawn Algermon and his son Shawn II relished the sunshine as an added bonus to their daily routine.
"It's very nice," said Algermon while waiting for his bus at Broadway and Main Street. "I hope we have a lot more sunny days. It's usually warmer by now. So I'm just taking it for what it is."
Nearby at 24 Mamaroneck Ave. CVS manager Rohan Persaud said he'd noticed the warmer weather nibble at the store's sunscreen inventory.
"Five people have asked me where the sunscreen is today," said Rohan. "That's definitely more than normal."
White Plains may get up to 84 degrees today, according to the National Weather Service .
Mid-eighties may be nice. However, it's not steamy enough for Rohan to notice any dents in CVS's new fan display.
"It's too early still," Rohan said.
