"If you buy a portable residential generator, you will need an electrical and plumbing permit"
I just spoke to the WP Building dept. & they told me that portable generators do NOT require any permits. Why would you even think a plumbing permit would be needed..generators make electricity!

As a resident of Hathway lane I am far more concerned with the idea of "video surveillance" on my street than the theft of some foolish signs, which are btw against the rules of the Gedney Assoc. which forbid the display of political signs on front lawns.
Where are these cameras and where are they aimed? Residents should be more worried about their privacy being violated than making meaningless statements about an issue whose outcome will be detemined by some extra-legal deal made after the exchange of favors, just ask our x-mayor the (dis)honorable Sy Schulman about Toll bros. help(?) with his home renovation.
Those opposed to this project should be cautioned that eminent domain might be invoked or an endangered species or a wetland be found & their homes could be taken by the EPA...it wouldn't be the first time. View Comment
Had Rick Perry read this he might have remembered the 3rd agency he would abolish as President..the Dept. of Energy.
Here is another example of why we have a $1.3+trillion deficit. It is NOT the place of government to subsidize endeavors that should stand on their own. If there is a need for electric car chargers, let the people who own electric cars pay for them.
If, in the unlikely event, electric cars become popular some entrepreneur(s) will start a business supplying charging stations SELLING re-charging to the owners. Capitalism, a radical idea. View Comment
