Like cockroaches in a swirling toilet many newspapers are scratching and clawing to keep from going under. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. In a way this isn't much different than investigative reporting. But in this story the paper hopes to victimize gun owners while creating loss of life and mayhem. In the eyes of gun controllers any gun owner is a criminal and therefore deserves punishment. So it's a win-win. Dead gun owners and more newspapers sold. View Comment
