Earlier report:
A tractor-trailer crashed down an embankment on the exit ramp of eastbound I-287 from I-95 in Westchester early Friday morning, landing near the backyard of a home.
The crash, near the eastbound I-287 ramp, near the Rye/Port Chester border, occurred just before 6:30 a.m.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries occurred.
There were ongoing ramp restrictions throughout the morning commute as a result of the incident on the eastbound ramp, with traffic backed up to Exit 10 (Route 120A/Bowman Avenue) on eastbound I-287.
