Between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, state police conducted a speed enforcement detail in Yonkers, which resulted in the issuance of 58 total tickets.
According to state police, troopers made 44 stops for motorists speeding, with nine others pulled over for various other vehicle and traffic violations. Three were stopped for not wearing their seat belts, and there were lone tickets issued to drivers for failing to move over for law enforcement officials on the side of the road and texting.
