There were heavy delays on a stretch of southbound I-95 on Wednesday afternoon after a serious crash with injuries initially resulted in the closure of the left lane.

The 3 p.m. crash, at Exit 18B (Mamaroneck Avenue), caused stop-and-go delays to I-287 (Exit 21) for more than a half hour.

At least one injury is reportedly serious.
