The Connecticut Department of Transportation issued an alert this week, cautioning that beginning on Monday, March 26, Advanced Construction and Tree Removal LLC is planning to begin their operation near the parkway, causing temporary lane closures around Greenwich and Stamford.

The project is expected to last an estimated three weeks, with an end date of Wednesday, April 14 planned.

During the tree removal operation, the DOT said that motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 in both directions between Exit 31 (North Street) and Exit 33 (Den Road) in Greenwich and Stamford. There will be signage posted and flaggers in the area to help motorists through the detour.

According to the DOT, “Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.”
