The pole came down around noon Wednesday, hitting a dump truck working in the area milling and repaving roads near Heathcote Road and Palmer Avenue. Wires are over the truck and the roadway.

Police officials weren't sure if the pole fell or if it was hit by a vehicle.

Utility officials are working to replace the pole and remove the wires, and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
