Five morning motor vehicle crashes that all initially blocked lanes caused heavy delays during the height of the Wednesday morning in Westchester.

A crash on southbound I-684 took out the right lane at Route 120 (Exit 2) in Purchase, with traffic backed up to Route 22 (Exit 3) in Armonk.

Farther south, there was stop-and-go traffic on the northbound Hutch after a crash at North Avenue (Exit 17) blocking the right lane. Traffic was backed up to the Cross County Parkway (Exit 15).

Another crash on the Hutch, this one  involving three cars, occurred just south of Exit 25 at Route 127 in Harrison, closing a lane there.

A crash on the southbound Saw Mill Parkway blocked the left lane at I-287 (Exit 22) with delays to Saw Mill Road (Exit 23).

An 8:30 a.m. crash on the southbound Bronx River Parkway took out the right lane at Leewood Drive.
