A motor-vehicle crash that initially took out the left lane on a stretch of the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway caused heavy delays during the Friday evening commute.
The crash, reported just before 6 p.m., occurred at Mamaroneck Road (Exit 22), with stop-and-go traffic backed to I-287.
Farther south, a crash on southbound I-87 caused stop-and-go delays at Exit 5 in Yonkers.
