Expect Delays: Weekday Lane Closure Scheduled For Hutch

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Motorists planning on traveling through Scarsdale on the Hutchinson River Parkway next week can expect delays as crews from the county complete roadwork in the area.

The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert on Wednesday notifying residents that from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning on Monday, Sept. 11, there will be lane closures on the parkway lasting throughout the week as crews perform highway work permit activities.

There will be a single southbound lane closed between Exit 22 (Mamaroneck Road) and Exit 20 (Route 125 / Weaver Street) in Scarsdale. The closures will last through Friday, Sept. 15.

Drivers have been asked to exercise extra caution while traveling through the work zone, and to follow any posted detour signage or flaggers in the area.
