WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- On a beautiful, sunny day that almost felt like spring -- when the wind wasn't blowing -- the White Plains High girls lacrosse team played a strong game at home, earning a 13-5 victory over Clarkstown South on Wednesday.

Senior Maryclare O'Meara paced the Tigers (2-0) with three goals and four assists. Erin McGee added three goals of her own, along with a pair of assists.

White Plains returns to action against North Rockland on Monday, April 6. The Tigers then  host Suffern two days later, with both games starting at 4:15 p.m.
