White Plains Hit-n-run Wins Westchester Baseball Title

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The White Plains Hit-N-Run 13-Under baseball team captured the Westchester Baseball Association Travel League title with a 5-2 victory over Scarsdale at Monsignor Scanlan High School in the Bronx Sunday.

Pitcher Matt DiSanto tossed a three-hitter and kept Scarsdale batters off balance  with a commanding performance. Anthony Burgio, Jon Diforio and Dom Allese played strong defense behind DiSanto.

Coached by Mike DiSanto and Tony Burgio, the Hit-N-Run boys competed in the Westchester Baseball Association against teams from Westchester , Rockland, Manhattan and the Bronx.

The Hit-N-Run roster also included Dom Allese, Michael Attonito, Alex Burnett, Matthew Dorchak, Steven Flores, Miles Hardy, Justin Holman, Jose Iglesias and Anthony Russo
