WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The mighty White Plains Generals won their third straight Westchester Baseball Association under-11 championship Thursday, knocking off the East Yonkers Hurricane, 6-1, at Healy Field in the Bronx.

The Generals, who also won the 10-under WBA title last summer and the 11-under age group championship this spring, got a complete-game pitching performance from Matt Halas, who struck out 12 batters over six innings.

Collin Darcy, who drove in two runs, led the Generals' 12-hit attack. Brandon Flissler and Aiden McDonough each had a double.

The Generals players are Zack Blot, Collin Darcy, Justin Di Savino, Brandon Flissler, Caleb Gillen, Matt Gjokaj, Matt Halas, Justin Hanratty, Christian Koutsoubis, Aiden McDonough, Tyler O’Brien, Joey Portanova, Shane Regan and Khari Wilson.
