White Plains Bernies Youth Football Caps Unbeaten Season

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The White Plains Bernies youth football team defeated the Cortlandt Cowboys 37-6 to cap an undefeated season and capture the Westchester United Football League championship on Saturday.

The White Plains Bernies finished an 8-0 season and secured the 2013 WUFL championship on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The Bernies finished the season with an 8-0 record. They were led on offense all season by Matt DiSanto, Javon Coleman, Mike Fitzgerald, Spencer Lodes, Anthony Russo, Charlie Iarocci, Matt DeSousa, Danny Minerva and Paul Rand.

The Bernies defense was anchored by Jack Minerva, Danny Dilullo, Isaiah Walker, Seth Thorton, Kyle Hutter and Travis Cowles.
