WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The White Plains Bernies third- and fourth-grade youth football team ran its record to 4-1 Saturday with a 24-0 victory over Ardsley at Highlands Middle School Field.
The Bernies utilized a potent running game with running back Ryan McPartlan, quarterback Anthony Palatucci, and quarterback/tight end Jimmy Keenan each scoring on a rushing touchdown.
White Plains' offensive front-line blocking was led by Keenan, right tackle Ryan Caserta and right guard Matt Dilullo, who opened the holes for the running backs down the field.
The Bernies continue their season Sunday at the Sleepy Hollow High School field against the hometown Tarrytown Wolfpack in an 11:15 a.m. start.
