WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The White Plains Arsenal Boys Under-11 age group team advanced to the Eastern New York State Cup Finals before falling to Scarsdale Barcelona 2-0 in the championship game in upstate LaGrange.

The Arsenal boys, who are currently in the race for the Westchester Youth Soccer League Division 1 title, advanced to the title game with three straight shout victories over FC Kosmos Poseidon from Queens (5-0),  the Albany Alleycats (3-0) and NY Elite FC, also from Albany (1-0).

In the championship test, White Plains conceded two early goals in the first half and despite some excellent soccer and great spirit from the boys, Scarsdale defended well to prevent Arsenal from scoring. Arsenal was captained by Max Russ and Luke Hartigan. Coach David Hartigan's Arsenal roster also includes; Matthew Blandon, Christian Cerny, Daniel Marinaccio, Nicky Eichenberger, Michael Hunter, Joshua Borda, Juan-Pablo Estupinan, Andrick Palma, Andrew Pesce, Juan Espinosa and Kalden Harp.
