The firtst Westchester Putnam Masonic Charities Corporation will hold its 2nd Annual Golf Outing on Friday, June 17th, 2011, at Casperkill Country Club, in Poughkeepsie, NY.
The outing will be held in a scramble format, and there will be awards for the winning teams, as well as a longest drive contest, closest to the pin, a $10,000 hole-in-one prize and multiple door prize drawings. The First Westchester Putnam Masonic Charity Corporation (MCC), a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation, is the primary charitable organization affiliated with the 1st Westchester Putnam District. While the MCC feels a special responsibility for the care of its members and their families, it also provides support to people with no connection with the Masonic Fraternity. The MCC works with all Lodges in our District to help distribute funds.
The Community charity remains one of the most important Masonic missions worldwide. Supporting worthy causes in local communities provides a visible role for Lodges, allowing non-Masonic neighbors the opportunity to better understand and respect the role of Masons, said MCC Golf Outing Chairperson Rob McCarthy.
Deadline for registration is June 7. Those interested in playing may link to the registration site at http://www.courtlandt34.com/Golf_Outing.html or call McCarthy at 914-774-3117.
