Swim-a-thon To Honor Late Westchester Hills Country Club Coach

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge Swim and Dive Team will honor late coach Chris Dewey with a swim-a-thon on Saturday, July 9.

Pound Ridge swimmers will honor late coach Christopher Dewey

The Dolphins will swim for an hour in his honor. All donors will be invited to the Dolphins' breakfast that morning to cheer on the swimmers.

As previously reported, the Pound Ridge resident died at the age of 28 in December. He was pool director and head coach at Pound Ridge Town Pool.

Dewey was the Westchester Aquatics Club's swim coach and previously coached the boys swim team at Rye High School. He also served as summer league coach for Larchmont Shore Club and Westchester Hills Country Club in White Plains. 

The swim-a-thon will take place at Pound Ridge Town Pool at 8 a.m.
