WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Registration has begun for White Plains' soccer league or any of its clinics that start in April.
Boys and girls in kindergarten through sixth grade have until April 1 to register for one of the city Recreation and Parks Department’s soccer programs. League play begins April 20. Clinics begin the weekend of April 13 and include Pre-Kicks, Little Kicks and Sunday Soccer.
Additionally, Skills and Drills Play Day, a new program in 2013, will be held April 6 at Saxon Woods Field.
All programs focus on teaching children the fundamentals of the game and developing skills, and emphasize teamwork and having fun. All children will play regardless of skill level and receive awards at the end-of-year sports celebration.
