Port Chester Boy Excels At Archery Competitions

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Kyle George, a sixth-grade student at Corpus Christi School, is honing his skills as a nationally ranked archery expert.

The 11-year-old Port Chester boy won his second consecutive state championship in his age group and bow category on Monday, March 2, during the New York State Archery Association Indoor Championship.

And, on the weekend of March 14-15, Kyle placed third in the nation for his age group at the 35th Annual Indoor National Championship hosted by the National Field Archery Association in Louisville, Kentucky.

Kyle also placed fourth this season at the Junior Olympic Archery Development National Indoor Championship, hosted by USA Archery-East Region in Fiskdale, Massachusetts.
