DiCostanzo committed to Manhattan College in March of 2014 and has had and successful scholastic career as an attack/center for both Eastchester High School and House of Sports Elite 2015 Club. She was the first female Eagles lacrosse player to commit to play college lacrosse and the first lacrosse player, boy or girl, to commit to play Division 1 lacrosse.

"I chose Manhattan College for quite a few reasons," DiCostanzo said Thursday as she enjoyed her last summer as a high school student. " I really liked the campus and its proximity to New York City as well as to home, this way my family can come to see the Jaspers play."

The soon-to-be-senior has been a starting member of the Eastchester girls varsity team since the eighth grade. As team co-captain as a sophomore and junior she received New York State Section I and  All League honors 2011-2014, and State, Section I and All-Section 2014.

DiCostanzo has been a Scholar Athlete from 2011-2014. She scored her 100th varsity goal as a sophomore and as a junior she surpassed her 200th varsity point. She led the league in goals and points scored and earned all league honors each year on varsity and all section honors this past season.

Among her other honors, DiCostanzo was invited to participate in the Brine Diamond and Super Sophs Showcases in 2013 and was also part of a select team that was invited to attend the Presidents Cup in Orlando Florida, where her team, House of Sports went undefeated. She recently attended the Champion's Cup and Capital Cup in Midlohtian Virginia.

With her college choice settled, DiCostanzo is looking forward to making more important choices as she heads for graduation.

"I am still not sure as to what I would like to major in, and Manhattan has many academic choices, it was just a great fit for me," she said. "I was impressed by the Manhattan coach, who has announced her intent to build the Jasper’s program from the ground up. I am really looking forward to being a Jasper."
