The Knights, who are looking to build their baseball program, got a first-hand look at a team that knows how to win, as Mamaroneck rolled to an 18-4 victory.

Mamaroneck junior Andy Francella got his first varsity win in his first varsity start, and Brian Knapp drove in four runs to pace the Tigers.

Mamaroneck improved to 8-1 overall (the loss came to North Rockland) and 4-0 in league action. Mount Vernon fell to 0-6.
