"Congrats to Carl Frampton for winning the WBA world featherweight title this weekend!" Astorino said in a Sunday Facebook post.

Astorino had welcomed Frampton to Westchester in mid-July, when the fighter came to train. Frampton was joined by his manager and mentor, Barry McGuigan -- himself a former featherweight champion -- as well as his trainer, Barry McGuigan's son, Shane.
