White Plains Superintendent, School Officials Meet With Neighborhood Group

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The White Plains Council of Neighborhood Associations (WPCNA) hosted White Plains Superintendent of Schools Paul Fried, several Board of Education members and PTA Council co-presidents in an education panel at its meeting Wednesday.

The panel answered questions from the public and Fried urged attendees, as community leaders, "to be pro-active and advocate for our excellent schools."

An advisory council, the WPCNA functions by distributing information and opinions to the public and public officials and encouraging local action. The group meets monthly to discuss citywide issues.
