White Plains High School Seeks Hall Of Fame Nominations

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – White Plains High School is seeking nominations for its 70-member Hall of Fame.

“The Hall of Fame pays tribute to White Plains High School alumni/ae who have distinguished themselves in their chosen career and/or have significantly and positively impacted the lives of others,” said a news release from the Hall of Fame Steering Committee. “Any graduate of White Plains High School is eligible for nomination. Posthumous recognition is granted.”

The White Plains High School Hall of Fame has honorees including CEOs, former teachers, civic leaders, Athletic Hall of Famers, Pulitzer Prize winners and Olympians. It stretches from a 1921 graduate to 1984 graduate.

Nomination forms are available at all White Plains public schools, the White Plains Public Library, the Slater Center, the YMCA and the YWCA, the release said. The form also may be downloaded from the school district's website. More information about the Hall of Fame is available on the district's site.
