White Plains' Grace OShin Inducted Into Honor Society

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Grace OShin, a White Plains resident, was one of 17 freshmen inducted into Lyndon State College's Alpha Lambda Delta on Sunday, April 27.

OShin is majoring in electronic journalism arts.

ALD is a national honor society for students who have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and are in the top 20 percent of their class during their first year of higher education. ALD has members in more than 270 chapters and yearly awards 35 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $6,000.

"I'm proud of the diligence and hard work these students have put into their first year of college," said Lyndon President Joe Bertolino. "Induction into ALD is an admirable achievement."
