WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The White Plains school district will hold two public forums on its 2013-2014 budget, which will be voted on May 21.
The first public forum is Jan. 16 and the second is March 20. Both will be held at 7:30 p.m. at White Plains High School, 550 North St., in Room B-1.
Voters approved the 2012-2013 budget May 15, 2012, with 81 percent of the vote. That $188.82 million budget raised taxes 3.03 percent and added two elementary school teachers to accommodate higher enrollment.
