WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Archbishop Stepinac High School, the all boys, secondary school at 950 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, will hold its fall open house, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 26.
The open house will provide parents and future high school students with information about the school, along with its academic, sports and extracurricular programs. Visitors will be able to tour the facilities and grounds which have undergone significant improvements recently. Highlights include the state-of-the-art Mastronardi Technology Center, new physics lab, video conference center, athletic fields equipped with state-of-the-art artificial turf and Major Bowes Theater.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to learn more about the all-digital textbook library, the first of its kind in the nation, that was implemented a year ago and has already improved academic performance. Tours and presentations by administration and faculty members including the participation of the students are scheduled for 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
